Do you accept returns?
Yes. If you wish to return your item for a refund please contact us within 5 days of receipt. It should be returned and received by us within 14 days, 30 days for international returns. Follow this link to view full Returns Policy
To be eligible for a refund your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must be unworn, other than to try on, and returned in all original packaging including presentation boxes.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees using a fully insured, tracked & signed for service and packaged securely. We will refund you in full within 7 days minus the cost of any delivery charges incurred by Castle Oak Jewellery.
International returns should be clearly marked “UK Returned Goods” on the outer packaging to avoid charges.
We do not accept any exchanges.
Do you offer ring resizing?
No we don’t. We always want you to have the option to return the ring if you don’t like it and resizing would preclude that.
Most rings can safely be sized up or down by around three sizes by your local jewellers and this is relatively inexpensive to do.
Some rings however would be unsuitable for a resize due to the complexity of their setting. It is always best to check with your own local jeweller prior to purchase if you will need a resizing service.
We are not able to accept returns for any piece of jewellery that has been re-sized or changed in any way.
How can I be sure a ring will fit?
All of our rings are displayed with their UK/AUS, US/Can, Eur and Swiss equivalent sizing. If you wish to enquire about any other country sizing equivalent please send us a message. We use the Ganoksin International ring sizing equivalence chart, which has been proven to be the most accurate.
What is the best way to care for my jewellery?
Your piece is either antique, vintage or pre-loved and as such it has stood the test of time, but it does still need to be treated with care. Please read the care advice card that we provide with every piece we sell.
All our rings are carefully inspected and professionally cleaned preserving the vintage nature of the item as much as possible. We are very selective about the quality of our rings and we offer this in superb overall condition. check your item upon receipt.

Is pickup/collection available?
Sorry we are not able to offer collections or pickups, we are an online shop only and do not have a physical shop. This enables us to offer excellent quality items at very fair prices.
Will my jewellery need to be professionally cleaned and polished by a jeweller when I receive it?
No, not at all. Each piece that we sell is taken directly to our own workshop where our in-house jeweller then cleans and appraises each piece. The jewellery is then professionally polished to bring up the shine on the precious metals using specialist jewellers equipment and compounds that do not damage the vintage and antique pieces but removes any surface scratches. The gemstones are then cleaned using a professional ultrasonic cleaner with specialist liquids. Not all gemstones are suitable to be cleaned by ultrasonic cleaners and in these cases the gemstones are carefully cleaned by hand.
