This rare and very beautifully crafted vintage 1959 solid 9ct yellow gold cushion heart locket by the infamous Georg Jenson of Copenhagen has been exquisitely engraved to the front with detailed floral scrolling. The reverse side of the locket has a smooth plain polished finish bearing the clearly stamped hallmarks. The locket opens and closes with ease and features two separate 9ct gold heart frames that fit over photographs once inside. Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs with his impeccable craftsmanship exuding beauty along with functionality.
