An absolutely gorgeous vintage old cut diamond trilogy ring in a crossover/bypass design with beautiful clean star detailing to the platinum settings. Dating back to the Victorian era ‘bypass’ engagement ring settings have grown more and more popular over time. Traditionally, the bypass ring had been worn as an engagement ring to symbolise two souls becoming one. This ring dates from the 1940s and has been beautifully crafted in 9ct yellow gold and platinum and features three round old cut diamonds measuring approximately 2.8mm and 2 x 2mm, flush set into an ornate platinum star setting and mounted onto a 9ct yellow gold shank. A stunning 1940s engagement or anniversary ring.
