This beautiful 9ct yellow gold bamboo-effect hinged bangle has been designed as a continuous series of naturalistically modelled bamboo cane sections with finely engraved bark detailing and is fitted with a concealed box clasp and safety chain. Bamboo has been revered for centuries, particularly in Chinese and Japanese cultures, to be a symbol of wealth, happiness and good fortune. The bangle has been crafted by the renowned CPS Jewellery Company Ltd, operating from 1957 to 1986 at their premises 15 Vyse Street in Birmingham’s prestigious Jewellery Quarter.
