This stunning 18ct ruby and diamond gipsy band ring by Charles Green & Sons of Birmingham is hallmarked Birmingham 1980 and is in overall excellent condition (see condition note below). Charles Green established his business in 1824 at Brierley Street West in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and the company later became synonymous with well-made gold jewellery. Today, Charles Green & Son is still renowned for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The ring features a central 3.5mm round cut deep red ruby flanked by 2 x 2.5mm matching rubies and interspersed by 2 x 3mm sparking round brilliant cut diamonds mounted onto an ornate scrolled raised gallery setting. The band measures 4.5mm to the front and tapers to 2.6mm at the back. The ring weighs a hefty 4.3g. A perfect anniversary ring or promise ring.

Condition – Overall excellent condition. There is a very tiny chip to the central ruby between the table and one of the star facets. This is only noticeable under a 10x jewellers loupe and not to the naked eye.
