This beautiful 9 carat yellow gold Figaro chain link bracelet features traditional 3-1 open links.
The Figaro chain design consists of three or more small circular links followed by one elongated oval link. The most notable Figaro chains are manufactured in Italy and this bracelet is no exception, manufactured in Italy and imported into the UK and hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office. Figaro chains were traditionally worn by men but have become increasing popular as beautiful chains for all to wear. The name of the design is believed to have been inspired by the opera The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with the origins of the chain dating back to one of Italy’s most notable family of jewellers and goldsmiths, the Riccardi family.
